I know the dealers have a setup to pump in antifreeze. Having seen one I decided to build one on the cheap.

Its a 20L washer fluid jug with a shrader valve in the cap and a piece of 1/2 inch garden hose going to the bottom of the jug and out through another hole in the cap.

Next I installed a quick disconnect on the end of the hose to hook up to the ski.

Filled up with water and attach it to the ski. While its running, I applied 50 psi to the shrader valve with an air tank and ran it until the jug was empty.

So for winterizing I plan on just filling the jug with RV antifreeze and doing the same thing.

I built this thing so I can leave the ski at the lake on the trailer and still flush it.

Thoughts?

I just use a hose and pour the "pink" RV antifreeze into it while the motor is running, when it come out the pump/peehole I stop.

Fog it then put it to bed for the winter.....OH I also put stabil in the tank before running it.

I used a small pump a few yrs ago but it wasn't worth the trouble.

I've used this twice now for flushing when I don't have access to a hose. Seems to work alright until the jug springs a leak from the pressure :P

At least they are cheap :P

Which anti-freeze is that ? I took a look for some the other day and there are a few different types, I only checked walmart and canadian tire though.

.

When I read your first post I thought WOW 50psi! You could probably get the same result with about 5 or 10 psi. And save on jugs.

Lol yeah I just pressurise the jug to that at first. Then top it up after a bit. Only 10-15 psi once it comes out of the end of the hose.
