I'm thinking of trying to save a couple hundred bucks this year and winterize my boat myself. It has a Mercruiser 5.7, my manual says what to do but it isn't very explicit on where things are at. e.g it says to open drain plugs on the engine etc. but I don't know where everything is at that it is referring to. I've read that I/O's are the toughest to winterize and if you don't do it just right you might cost yourself an engine. Does anybody know where to find really good step by step instructions?
