I have the winterizing instructions and diagram for this boat but the pictures are so poor and confusing that I have no idea which hoses to disconect.I also have a 03 pwc with the same engine to winterize. Can you use plumbing antifreeze or is that a no no?

Most people on here use the pink RV Antifreeze. It is safe for aluminum engines and is environmentally safe. You can buy it at almost any Auto-Parts store or Marine store and is usually around $3-$5 a gallon.

What engine do you have? I am not able to look that up right at the moment.

Ok...787.

Here is a pic of the 787.

You want to pinch off hose #2. This will keep the antifreeze from exiting the head through here. You want it to run to bottom of engine, not out this hose.

You will remove the hose at #1. This is where you will attach another short length of hose you have lying around and will be pouting antifreeze into the engine through it.

You will also notice a clear plastic hose running out from the bottom of the engine and off to the rear of the ski (1/4" to 5/16" inside diameter hose...smaller than the hoses at #1 & #2). This is where the antifreeze will be coming out. The manual tells you to pinch this hose off, but you don't have to. Pinching it off just makes it easier for you to notice the antifreeze has gotten through the engine.

So, pinch off #2, pour antifreeze into funnel and hose you attached at #1, look for it to drain through clear platic tube running from bottom of engine. If you notice antifreeze pouring out onto your garage floor/driveway, then you just missed it draining through the clear hose and you can stop.. Job is done...unpinch hose #2 and reattach hose #1.

Good Luck!
