Winter storage questions

I have a new 07 Seadoo Wake and just had the 10 hour service completed on it. I may take it out one last time before winter hits (this will be the first outing since the 10 hr service so it was "cleaned" by them as part of that service.)

The place where I bought it from says that I should get it winterized. I asked for details and they said that they put additive in the gas, sell me a little charger to keep battery (which of course I'll buy online cheaper) and then they also "fog" the cylinders. I think I can do everything quite easily except I have no idea what "fog" in this case means and if I need it done.
My seadoo is kept in the garage whenever it's not in the water so I'm wondering if I need to have them service it for winter storage.
Then in the springtime they will "summerize" it. Both of these services are $140 each.

I live in the Pacific NW (Oregon) so temps aren't too extreme. I don't think temp will get below freeze in garage but it's a possibility.

So, can I save the $140x2 or should I bite it and have them do their thing this winter?
Also, any recommendations on which gas additive I should use?

Thanks in advance!

if it gets under 30 degrees their, i would do a full winterization. fogging the engine is pretty important also unless you can go out to the garage every week or two and just start the engine so it doesnt have any corrosion. i guess if i had that expensive of a ski i would just get a full winterization done though. i dont know the steps for a 4tec engine but two strokes are very easy to do by yourself. it only takes me like 15 minutes to winterize a 2stroke. just do some research and do the work yourself, save some money and your seadoo

Thanks much for the advice! Based on the link also provided, I'm gonna have it done as I haven't learned enuf (yet) how to do it myself...
