hey my 99 xp ltd mpem is not repairable the part number is 278001499. will a mpem from a 98gsx ltd run my ski part no.278001558

278001526 replaced the 278001499 99 GSX LTD, 99 XP LTD. I don't thinks so, I could be wrong but the 98 runs a single coil and the 99 is a dual coil
