hi i have a 97 gsx with the 780cc engine (i think that is what it is) i know the 97 limited come with a 951cc engine will that fit in my ski? or even one from a 99 gsx limited if i run carbs? i know your all probly going to say if you want a 951 engine buy a ski that all ready has one, and that would make sence but over here is oz they are rare and way over priced! has anyone done this before?

Actually I would say stay FAR away from a 951!

The 787 has a MUCH better track record. The 787 engine will last you atleast 2x longer then a 951 and with few simple mods will give you all the power you could want.

If you are absolutly set on a 951, I'm sure it CAN be done. Almost anything can be done for a price and the effort to do it. But as I said, you would be MUCH better off to put that money into modding your 787 then to spend the $$ just to put a ticking time bomb in your ski!

I was looking into putting a 787 in my GTI...and the hulls of the GTX and the GTI appear to be identical...but when looking closer there are differences inside the hulls of each...To big of differences to try and do the motor swap...Just look very close inside the GSX and the limited. I was lucky enough to have a GTX sitting next to my GTI so I could compare .
