I have a carburetor jet screwed into my exhaust pipe nipple. The jet is an 80... why would someone do this? Should I remove it? Will this harm/improve anything? Someone deliberately did this and I would love to know why...
Don't remove it. You want a metered amount of water injected into the cooling system. If you remove it... you will loose top end performance, but if you dry out the the pipe totally, you will overheat the exhaust.
