What's wrong with this picture?

In my never-ending browsing on ebay, I came across this jet boat for sale. Having already done 3 engine swaps in the last year I could not help but notice something different in the engine bay. If you click on the engine pic you will see the hose coming from the jet pump feeding the exit side of the head and the "exit" hose feeding the "in". Surely this cannot be correct. What are the consequences of this being reversed? This has to be critical.

Yep. They are swapped. I don’t think it will mater much since when you flush the engine water goes in to the outlet and out the pump. I could be wrong.
