I thought it would be fun to all post our very first ski that got us into the sport. Mine was a 95 spi that I paid 750$ for with a junky trailer but it was all I needed to get on the water! I fixed it up and painted the hood kind of funny but I was 19 lol. I loved that ski and got good money when I sold it too. seadoo 1.jpgseadoo 2.jpgseadoo 3.jpg
 
ooo man.....1989 yamaha WR 500. paid $200 for it. ill have to do some looking for the pics. i was 16 at the time i got it.
 
my first ski was a 89 yamaha wr500 as well and had a blast! till my brother let me ride his 97 seadoo gtx. i rode my yammy one more time for an hour and was boring so i sold it and bought a brand new 97 gsx.

lol i was in the same boat. i think top speed was 25mph lol??? when I sold mine it went to a guy that lived on a lake that the most hp you could have was 25hp and the wr500 was 25hp so he paid up for it lol. got $1100 with trailer for it.
 
yea it was very fun even at 25mph till i got a taste of the hp and speed of the seadoo, it ruined me lol!
 
'01 Yamaha GP1200. Bought it in the dead of winter, 20 below 0 temp, from a guy that was moving. When I got there he also had a cherry 97 XP that didn't run in his garage that belonged to his friend. Ended up buying that too. That was only two years ago.

I could get it up to 49 if I had a good wind behind me and the current in my favor.
 
First ski was a 1988 X2 that I bought on a Wednesday to make a friday trip to Laughlin. As expected it never ran in the water. I sold that for a 1988 650 SX that I had for about 3 years that got a new engine and custom paint. Sold that for a brand new 1998 SXI Pro and sold that a year later for a new 1997 XP in late 1998 then installed a Group K sleeper kit. I still remember the registration numbers for the 650 SX and XP and would love to buy them back if they ever cam up. I always check the numbers whenever I see on e come up in the area. So let me know if you ever see CF 2422 KK or CF 3515 PB. LOL.
 
Back in 1992 the 89 SP was my first ski, 2 years later I bought the 91 XP.I still have them. 23 years of Seadoo ownership.

Family had a wave jammer when I was a kid at the lake house. Oh the memories

My first ski I owned myself was 96xp. Bought it last May, now I'm on my 6th Doo (traded 95 and 96 XPs), 4 in garage now. 2 running, 2 rebuild. Addiction.

Started with a 1984 Js550 in high school. Bought it for $100 and hid it from my parents at our farm behind the barn for 3 months lol Cant find the pics of it, Had it for 2 years.Then bought a 1989 650sx with a AM head and pipe my junior year of high school for $400, only had it for a month before i sold it.

Then bought my X2 and had it for a year. Buddy sitting on it makes it look miniature lol

Then bought a ski last winter and flipped it for double what i payed last summer.

And my baby that is currently under a resto. No plans on selling this thing!

where did you get the xp stickers?
 
Hello my first ski was a Kawasaki stand-up jet ski 440! I actually only got out on it a couple times since it would take on water all the time! of course I bought a bad ass pump for it lolol
