What to look for in a weak starter?

So my starter relay went bad and I jumped the starter to make sure it was still good but it seems to be a little weak.. I have removed the starter and have it opened up, does anyone know what I should be looking at to see if I can change something to make it stronger?

Since you have the starter out, you could go ahead and clean it up, lubricate and replace the brushes. Honestly to me it sounds like your battery is weak.
