What Ski is better?

Hi guys, I'm new to this and wanted some advice. I'm looking at buying a 2018 GTR230 or GTX230. I'm a little indecisive which way to go. Is one ski better than the other?

The GTR 230 can carry up to three passengers and is available in Black and Octane Blue. The GTR-X 230 carries up to two riders and is available in California Green Metallic and Black. Each model can reach a top speed of 65mph (105 KM/H).

The GTR 230 comes equipped with all of the standard performance features, and as well as 30.8 gallons (117 L) of storage.

The GTR-X 230 has all standard performance features, as well as:

Acceleration of 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 5.2 seconds
Ergolock system: narrow racing seat and angled footwell wedges
NEW racing handlebar with adjustable riser
X-coloration, graphics, design and gauge
7 gallons (116 L) of storage
^Performance numbers based on BRP internal testing in optimal conditions.

I'm actually talking about the GTX230 not the GTR-X.

depends what your definition of better it. GTX luxury, GTR performance. same drivetrain just different features.

I own both the GTI hull and the new GTX ST3 hull and I would never consider a GTI hull again. The rough waters we ride, the GTX is a much better handling machine. My GTIs tend to porpoise at high speed and the GTI ride will chip your teeth..

Do you know how the new GTX hull compares to a 2008 GTX hull? I'm considering a 2013 GTI but like the ride of my older GTX.

I have only limited seat time on my buddy's GTX but from what I recall it was more similar to my GTI than the new GTX ST3 hull.
