?? What next ???

:banghead: i am lost, i have replaced all the grey fuel lines, cleaned carbs and rave valves on my 97 GTX. now it wont start. originally it was bogging down when i put in the water, out of the water on the trailer ir ran great.
now all i get is a weird clicking noise at the back of the motor when i hit the start button.:ack: any help or advice would be appreciated.

make sure battery is good/charged, and if so, jump the relay, if motor turns, then inspect the red cable from relay to starter, if good, then replace the relay.

youll see a black box at the back of the boat (at least thats where mine is) that has two fat red wires going into it. take the lid off of this box and you will see a solenoid (relay) that the two red wires are attached to. take a screwdriver and touch the two poles together, you will see sparks but if the starter turns over this is the relay they said to change. hope this helps

looks like the relay has gone bad, gonna try a new one. hopefully it will fix it, thanks fro all the help
