What kind of RPMs can you get away with in the drive way?

With the jet ski out of the water, but connected to a hose... I just rebuilt the SCs on my 2007 Wake Editions. Want to be sure she's not going to explode on my when I launch it. How fast can I rev this thing up in the drive way with hose attached?

Not sure why I don't trust my work. Probably got scared b y everyone telling me too let a professional do the job. HAHAHAHA. But seriously...just want to properly test it before heading to the lake.

You can rev it, but keep in mind you won't have any load on the engine. Higher RPM will mean higher carbon seal temps with no water between the seal faces.

As for trusting your own work, have you had bad experiences in the past? Did you follow the manual? I'm not a "trained BRP technician", but I have done a lot of work. I've never had an issue because I followed the service manual to the "T". If you're still concerned, leave the ski on the trailer, and back it down the boat ramp. Run it on the trailer. If it runs well and you don't hear any abnormal noise while on the trailer, launch it and keep it close to the shore.
