What does your Mech charge??

Funny you should ask

Ate a rock at the end of the season. Tried for a couple of hours to dislodge it, finally gave up. Final bill, out the door, parts and labor, tax and fees:

$974.90

My ass still hurts. Rule #1, watch for shallow water!

I have the impeller, wear ring, and the " $1000 rock " in a shadow box in the garage by my boat as a reminder!

I enjoyed the font size of the price, very to the point. Thanks just curious. I bought the wear rings and did an SBT impeller swap but he is charging $300 labor to replace both wears and impellers.

With you supplying the parts that's not bad for labour on a twin engine boat. Unfortunately it sounds like screwbal may have gotten srewballed:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: (sorry I had to)

Aaron:cheers:

Wow, that impeller was chewed up. That white piece that looks like plumbing supplies, is that the wear ring? If it is, I now don't understasnd it's purpose. :willy_nilly:

That impeller can be fixed. The only time I replace a customers impeller is when he wants better performance. Otherwise, I just have his impeller fixed. In 16 years as a professional PWC tech, I've never replaced a customers impeller with a new OEM one, only aftermarket or repair.
