Almost 30% more in entry level cost will keep it from really pushing he Spark IMO. Seems more like it will compete with people looking to buy a GTI.

It may take a year or so for Yamaha to realize they need to make a genuine entry ski that is reasonably priced and still provide performance. I'm sure Spark knocked their sales rather dramatically.
