What connects to this fitting? 99 GSX 787

I have a 99 GSX that I pulled the starter out to get rebuilt, as reinstalling, I cant remember what hook to this nipple on the exhaust outlet? thanks

You should find a loose water hose down in teat area.

From Ckrawiec drawing it looks like it should connect the the water regulator valve.

So It would be the upper hose in this fitting.

Yes, lower hose on that valve should go the the cooling line tee.

The "fitting" in photo 2 is your Water Pressure Control valve ....upper port goes to the brass fitting in your first photo, lower port goes to the INLET water cooling line tee (as Mikidymac said)......
