I'm tring to remove the wear ring from the housing, i cut a groove in the ring and it still won't come out. I cut through the plastic but i don't know if i went far enough. I cut down untill i hit a white fiber glass like powder, do i need to cut deeper or is that the housing already. Does the ring have a outside shell i need to cut throght?
