I am looking for a wear ring for my wife's 1994 GTX I had purchased one on fleabay and pressed it into the housing and went to put the impeller in and it would not go. The wear ring is too thick. Now I am looking for a wear ring that will work. I can't seem to find a Seadoo brand, but I have found a WSM. The part number is 271000290. Is that correct and are WSM good wear rings??? Help!

That's the right OEM number for the 140mm pump. I can't speak to WSM rings, but I just got an OEM ring from westsidepowersports.com and it was around $65. You cant order online, you have to call them, but if they have it in stock, they usually get it out the same day. Its a little more than the aftermarket rings, but you get it fast and it is pretty much guaranteed to slip in after a couple hours in the deep freeze. It all depends on how fast you need to get back on the water.

You can also try osdparts.com, I don't think he has any oem rings right now, but I hear his delron ring is pretty good. OSD also has pretty good pump bearing sets, thick neoprene rings, anti rattle cones, and a better than stock seal carrier assembly. It all depends on what you think you need after you inspect the wear surfaces.

good luck!

All I will say is this Corona virus really has things messed up! Parts are hard to come by and prices have skyrocketed!!!!!!!!!
Anyone have any problems with the delron rings???
