Water Pressure

Hey Folks, curious about this one. My boat (chall 97 single engine) has two water flushing ports. When i use the top mounted port to flush, no water shoots out the little hole by the tow hitch outlet, but when i cap top and flush from below, water shoots out this port.....is that normal?

Also, when running the boat on the sea, is water supposed to shoot out of this port as well?

its normal, when flush'n from the back, the water has nowhere to go, but thru the system, with constant pressure. By using the flush mount at top, there aint the "pressure" as to using the back one.

While boat running in water, should "pee" out that hole.
