Steering...?
It's pretty straight forward. To assemble the split ring, that is just as it looks. But, to put the rubber washer on, might take a bit of work.
I don't think the shop manual even explains how to do this. I'd suggest you start at the nozzle, work the parts off from the adjustment knob and aft. You'll have to thread off the ball joint at the nozzle to get the retaining ring and rubber washer on.
I always stress that you use patience. Sometimes, working on these things can be aggravating. Something that seems so simple sometimes can be a pain..........:cheers:
