Water in the engine area not engine

The water was not in the engine persay, it was in the engine area. When we got it out of the water, we drained all the water out of it and cranked it. It did turn over but we did not take it back out in the water. What should we do?
 
Water,....it can come in from many places. Tuned pipe dimples rust until pinhole
reveales it, A Carbone Ring warp if engine ran on hose over two minutes. Floor
screen suction boxes if venturi o-rings fail, venturi siphon tubes fall out. Turf rivets
can leak. Sponson bolts can leak. Carrier bearing failure. Hull drive snout failure.
Seat or compartment seal failure. Cracked hull. Broken Beer Bottles. Cooling hose failures. Case gasket or head gasket failure. Just to name a few. Ect. ect.
