Water getting in engine 787 RFI

Folks,

I have shown this pic before of one of my RAVE valves, so please forgive me for reposting.. However, I am really not sure what to do at this point. If I pull the head and the head gasket is bad, will there be water in the pistons? The head gasket would have to replace anyway correct? Anything else I should look for?

The ski seems to be locked. I tried spinning the PTO and it won't budge. People have suggested pulling the head, but again, what would I be looking for ? I appreciate the assistance.

The head just uses o-rings so nothing to loose.
Looking for water in the engine or steam cleaned piston tops.
