water flow regulater valve

2000 gtx rfi the repair manual said that the water flow regulater valve is calibrated at factory and new ones (repair parts) are also preset. I ve got one some body scewed with be for I bought the seadoo. thought I could just ajust it got any thoughts of what it might be set at. how many turns in or out.

I think they put washers in them so that they are calibrated to be turned three turns out from bottomed out. I am currently running mine bottomed out so it is injecting water all the time, but it seems to not let it accelerate as quickly. I will be pulling it back three turns.

Sometimes they come from factory with 3 washers, sometimes 2. So apparently they are set up at factory so we can all run them 3 turns out.

thanks alot I will try that and see what happens. they had it turned all the way out.
