Water always exiting from exhaust - Normal?

Having had a recent flooding issue with the ski, I have a slight performance issue at the moment and just trying to understand how everything works.

Out of the exhaust exit at the back I am getting a lot of water coming out all of the time when the ski is in the water. Is this normal? Should water always be exiting from the end of the exhaust?

May seem daft question but just not sure.

Yes water will continuously exit through the exhaust, in fact if it doesn't you've got problems.
