I have taken a couple days to go through all my vids I have on my laptop, looking to find a way to get them to the forum so you guys can see first hand, some minor repairs and/or maintenance.
I have recorded about 25 vids of work I have done over the past year or so. I just could not figure out how to work them into the forum. I think I have found a way.
The forum, since it's inception, has gone through many upgrades, adding to the users ease of navigation and changes, to add new content. Constant changes in adding to a website is needed to stimulate members, looking for "what's new".
I have since signed up for a youtube account and in the process of working what I will be calling "Seadoosnipe short-shorts". I have taken two days this week to use my video editing software, to put together our first one. It will be a short short on how to assemble the anti-rattle device in the pumps of the 951's. These are more efficient and work better than the ones you see in the 787cc and below. If you remove this device when servicing your pump oil, it must go back in a certain way. It will actually fit in any of 4 different orientations but is only correctly installed in one.
So, with the off season here and most doing maintenance on their skis/boats, this will be the first vid I post.
I will attempt to do this by creating a thread in a general area of the forum, with a link from the post that will allow you to view it. These shorts will be for every member and will include things like removing your pump and nozzle, replacing your bearings, rebuilding carbs, and much more.
So look for this link in the near future. I am hoping to have the first short on line before the 15th of this month.............:cheers:
