Vibrates then engine dies

Hi
I was riding my 1998 seadoo gtx limited this weekend and it started to vibrate, I think near the drive shaft, then I would accelerate and it would die during acceleration, I started it up again and got up to about 30mph then it would die (the gas was turned on). It vibrates the worst during acceteration. I had to drive it over to the landing on "idle" because I didn't want it to die on the way over.
Any ideas

pull your plugs and turn the motor over by hand, pull the flywheel guard off and slowly turn.

I have someone watch the pump and the drive shaft. listen for noises

might give you a good start at this problem.

I just broght it in to the shop this morning, said he'd give me a call in a day or two so will see what wrong

when, the shop said it is a blown pistion, is this common for a 1998 with a little under 200 hours on it
