Perhaps I don't understand all I know about these plastic crap vent hoses in the skis. Is there a trick for getting them to bend back into the position there were in "prior" to releasing the dragon? I've heard the expression trying to shove a wet noodle up a wild cat's butt.... and this is as close as I've been to that situation. :D:D I can fix with a pair of snips but dang these things are difficult. What's the secret??

I guess that would be fresh air over and near the fuel tank. I hate them things with a passion, especially on the GTXs. Perhaps they are just old and stiff.

Must be yours are different than mine. Mine are literally slip fit into place, and if I don't put the push pins into the joint of the vertical tubes they will slip off with a slight bump of the hand.

There is one that comes from the right side of the ski about midway between the front compartment and engine compartment. It is a hard 90 degree bend and it comes forward and collides with the vent hose on the left side of the ski. When you force one... the other comes off. No push pins on these, they slide into the large
rubber grommets.

Aha, so I guess far more troublesome than this.

I just got finished fighting that SOB. Its not like it is suppose to be but it is how it is. LOL Perhaps it's that the ski is a RFI. And no... the one you are looking at is a GTI correct?

You got it. I assumed odds were great that you were working on something different, just showing my perspective.

We all have our struggles! [emoji16]

The rubber grommet in the hulls get old and hard and make it even more difficult.
A little silicone grease on them makes it much easier.

It would help if I put the hose in the right location. It's nice having more than one ski too look at. LOL Its in there now and it is NOT coming out. LOL
