Using mixed fuel and oil pump after a top end rebuild.

Good Day all, Just have one question in regards to my top end rebuild. When I got the boat, the last owner was using pre-mix and after I did a top end rebuild, I installed the oil tank and oil pump. As I am breaking in the engine and wanted to insure that the oil pump was working, I put about six gallons of 50:1 pre-mix in the tank. Should I run both and if so for how long?

Yes, run both. 50:1 in the main take is right. I think the book says to do it for one full tank during break-in. (doing the same to mine now)
