I just wanted to update my rebuild on my 2005 rxt rebuild,i have taken it to the lake 2 times now for a total of around 12 hours ride time on rebuild.first time out I rode it for arond 6-7 hours straight and after all day the outer crank seal started leaking oil into the hull fixed loose hose clamp.day 2 rode for around 5-6 hours and the timeing chain tensioner plug come out and oil light come on forcing ski to shut down,put back together with lock tight now.ski runs perfect with no problems I figure I get to 25 hours with no problems I should be in the clear on the rebuild lasting.these engines are not to hard to rebuild,if you have a manual.
