I finally got to spend some time working on the boat this week. There was not room to mount the 2nd battery where I thought there was. Under the oil tank though, it has a nice big flat spot that looks like it was made for a 2nd battery. The tray I have fits there perfect. There is no way to wiggle the battery down into there though. I think if I unbolt the oil tank I would have room to get it in.

So my question is.... To unbolt the tank do I just need to take those 2 bolts on the top out and loosen the clamp on the fill hose and pull it off. I think once I get it loose I can just manuever it around and get the battery where I need it.

Will there be a problem unbolting it and moving it around? I do not want to empty it if I dont have to. Any chane of air getting in the lines or anything I should be aware of? Thanks!!
