trouble starting 95 speedster

Ok guys I need a little help. My 95 speedster cranked and ran good then 1 engine wouldnt crank. changed the spark plugs it tries to turn over but just wont start. the only way we got it to crank is jumped off. Today I changed the battery put 2 new gel in it and guess what doing the same thing. Any ideas? :ack:

Did you remove the plugs and see if it turns over easily?

I'd check the neg and positive cable connections to make sure they have a good connection.

I did, I'm almaost thinking the battiers arent big enough, after I try to crank them a few times it seems like they just dont have enough. Im would like to know if maybe a big deep cycle would be alright.

I replaced mine with a large deep cycle battery, easy mod, just cut the center out of the battery holder and find a battery that will fit...

Thanks for the help guys. I put a new deep cycle starter battery in and so far so good. Cranked right up on dry land, lets hope she cranks in the water.
