Towing a 4-Tec on the water

Hey everybody, new here and new to SeaDoo. Been learning as much as I can about maintenance and such.
Had a question and couldn't find a whole lot on it.

I've got an 04 GTX 4-Tec Supercharged with the closed loop cooling system.

Can this model be safely towed (with the pwc motor off) on water? I only ask this because there may be a time when we want to take the boat out and the GTX, would be great if I could just slowly tow the GTX to our camping island with the boat. I'm hesitant though because water would inevitably be moving throughout the SeaDoo without it running.

Any thoughts from the veterans out there??

I just may have found my answer. In another post it says anything over 5mph causing water to back up in the motor itself! Not good. Can anyone else confirm this?
