I have this exact model. I bought it from a guy who had it stored in a barn. The info recorded 104 hours of run time.
If you have your info center working, scroll through it and see what the PK Speed was that it recorded. This will let you see what the previous record was that the ski set for speed.
The peak speed in my info center is 61 mph. I've had it up to 64. I'm running a Solas Concord impeller. But, the stock impeller ran about the same speed.
Your top speed should be at least 60 mph at 7200 rpm......:cheers:

I have just bought a 97 GTX that just had the motor rebuilt has 150psi in both and have just replaced the jetpump with one from a 96 XP that had about 40hrs on it and looked pristine. I have also replaced the Rave Valves with some that were in much better condition and have the red screws bottomed out. I figure it is a heavy Ski and I will be hauling the wife around so it could use the help out of the hole but would like to know how much will I loose on the top end for when I'm out on my own. if it will still get close to 55 I will be happy. its really very easy to change those adjustment so maybe I'll just change them whenever the situation changes.
