Second trip with the boat, the first trip was a disaster as I found it needed new wear rings. Got that repaired(thanks to this website for less than 75 bux) and made the second trip on the 4th. Boat performed awesome and the kids and I had a blast tubing ect. One thing I noticed though is that oil got everywhere in the engine compartment. I could not pinpoint a leak, but I mean it was all over the bilge area and would take week of cleaning to get it out. Is this normal for these boats. I looked at both engines while running and didn't see anything out of the ordinary like oil spray or anything. On a side note, this boat seems way better on gas than I expected. We used the boat for two days on and off all day and used only one tank of fuel.

Lucky for the gas, not lucky for the oil, I dont think you should have any oil in or around your engine bay at all (I dont).

I think maybe you have a oil line unplugged (I could be wrong). But please you better premix your gasoline just in case, I blew up my motor last year, and it cost me $1,800.00, because there wasnt any oil in the mix...

So premix your gasoline until you fix your problem, (3.2 oz of oil per every gallon of gasoline).

Thanks, will definitely look at the lines before I use it again. I didn't think they would have made it to be this darn messy. Got to be a leak somewhere.

Sounds like the oil tank one way valve. Mine did the same till I bought a new one way valve for it & elevated it above the tank. I tried a valve from the local auto shop...but that didnt work so well...buy a sea doo one! The valve is supposed to let the tank suck in air when needed...if it coming out that valve... its shot.
Anyhow tighten your oil cap down & watch and see if oil moves up the line toward the one way valve...it might take awhile...if so theres your problem. BTW castrol super clean works great on that kind of mess.
