Time for Carbon Seal Maintenance... what else while I am there??

My 97 Seadoo GTS has zero carbon seal left and is now starting to take on water from that seal and cavitate as well. Is there any other pump maintenance I should perform other then the carbon seal while I am in that general area that I should take care of during this job?

I just replaced the wear ring in my pump, should have done the carbon seal as well!
