So took my seadoo to the lake broke it in properly, then took it out again got halfway across the lake and it just slowed down.I noticed a lot of water so I idled it back to shore barely and drained the water. Then put it in again and noticed it had little thrust would t go over 5 mph. Then noticed again a lot of water, then drained it and noticed the driveshaft was leaking.Did research the carbon ring was leaking.thus filling the hull with water. Is the the carbon ring related to thrust issues?

The carbon ring will cause cavitation if it’s bad. Double check that the clamp is tight. Sometimes you can put some pressure on the boot and tighten the clamp and they will seal up, but if the surface isn’t smooth, you may need to just replace it.
