Hello all, we just recently purchased a 2001 SeaDoo Islandia 240 EFI V6. We took it out the first day and noticed we can get 3/4 throttle and it sounds good but as soon as we try to go full throttle we don’t get anymore speed just more noise from the motor... Brought it home and checked the spark plugs, one of the spark plugs was completely clean with nothing on it! Then we found that one of the CDIs wires was broke off so we bought a new one, waiting for it to arrive... Could this be why our spark plug is completely clean and we aren’t getting anymore power from it being full throttle?

Also possible you are not getting any fuel to that cyl. One of the best things I ever did for my engine was having the injectors serviced. About $150, well worth it.

Tim we checked it today and there’s definitely fuel getting to it. Ordered new temp sensors for both starboard and port side, waiting for those to come in to test the boat in the water... I think the injectors will be the next thing to do.

It depends what motor you have in it. If you have a mercury engine. Just look up the serial number and you can go to mercury parts list online and find exactly what injectors you need Mercury Marine |

Does anyone know by chance what injectors the SeaDoo island is takes??

My 2000 240 EFI uses Keihin injectors. They appear to be a common unit. Search on ebay for a pic. VERY expensive from Merc. Shops can service them for about $20 each, including new filters and o-rings.
