The age old fuel lines question.

I have done vts, exhaust, and just finished the back electric box. These lines look nothing like my other gsx( which were original) when I replaced the inline filter they had no discolor. I used clear lines on my other ski. So these look original?

Also I have a cable coming out the tip of my rear electric box that I beliege went to my ground in the battery, does this seem correct? I know I am an idiot for not taking a picture.

Yes, those are the dreaded Tempo fuel lines that have to be replaced. Also someone used an oil filter on the fuel line which is absolutely wrong. Get all that out.

Yes that wire goes to the battery negative. The ski won't start without it connected.

The best thing to use is standard 1/4" automotive fuel line.

Kind of figured, thanks for the reply... It's odd the engine is new, every bolt and hanger is jew but the lines are original.
