Tech Question...

Hey guys..Tech question for ya. I just came in from disconnecting the battery on my ski. It randomly turned itself on at some point today and my wife noticed the SeaDoo beep. It was not started but the electronic panel was lit as if the lanyard had been connected. Anyone else ever have this problem? Could it be a sensor issue somewhere? Ski is an 05 GTX Limited. Thanks in advance..

Thanks for the reply.. Are there any how-to guides that you know of floating around for this?
Im not very knowledgeable when it comes to the tech stuff of the ski.

The way to test it is to plug in the lanyard and start the ski. Find the harness that connects to the post and unplug it. If the ski stays running the post is useless. It can also be started without the key in that case so don't leave it docked and unattended anywhere.

As far as changing it, I've never had to do one but from what I've heard it isn't too hard if you're somewhat mechanically inclined. If not I suggest you take it in and save yourself the headache of causing more unintentional damage.
