switched oil brans without draining

I bought a 96 gsx and used up most of the oil in the first 3 days of riding this thing. Not really thinking about it, I went out to Walmart and bought Quicksilver Full Synthetic and added it to the remaining oil in the tank without draining/cleaning. I know the previous guy also used full synthetic. How serious is this and can I just run this mixture until I need more oil?

IMHO, as long as you put in API TC synthetic you are OK to mix. What did previous owner use?

He said he used whatever was specified in the manual. Fully synthetic API TC. The guys a mechanic I don't think he'd mess that up. Thanks for your help I feel a little better about it now.
