Swapping 94 SPX impeller with 96 GTS?

Hey All!

I have a basketcase 96 GTS with a virtually new impeller. The 94 has a damaged one. Can I switch the bad one for the good one? Thanks!

Yes you can... but the GTX has an 800 motor, and it will have a higher pitch impeller. It may give the SPX a sluggish bottom. BUT... it will work.

Swapping 94 SPX Impeller with 96 GTS

Ok,

So the '96 impeller has a wider pitch which takes a bit more power to bite and force the water through the pump right? What can I expect performance wise on the SPX? You did say a little sluggishness on the bottom end? BTW, Who does a good job refurbing impellers? This is just a temporary fix for next weekend-
