I have recently purchased a used 03 seadoo GTX supercharged (185hp 4-tec) with 132 hrs on it. Time for a complete supercharger rebuild, glad I knew this going into the deal. I'm debating between 3 options for the rebuild: (A) Take it to the local dealer = $650 using the new kit allowing 200 hrs interval. (B) Send it out = 403 + shipping. (C) Do it myself = $295.95 for the kit and $49.95 for the tool kit from SBT + shipping. What option would ya'll suggest? If I go with option "C" what other tools will I need, such as a press to remove and install the bearings? I plan on doing as much of the maintenance I can, myself.

While it'd be nice to learn to do this rebuild yourself, if you make a mistake and it comes apart it does so INSIDE of your engine... something to consider that!
