Hi guys some of you remember me from this topic a few years ago. After 20 so hours supercharge failed again and guess what ..no more warranty after 6000$ plus bill.

You can understand how mad I am now and I took it to my auto mechanic a friend of mine as well and we are trying to fix it out self without those dealers charging 6k and a wait of 2 months plus to fix it...u get my frustration with them.
So we checked the starter the sellonoid but they all work fine battery is a week old. So we looked at trying to manually rotate the engine. The supercharger 17mm bolt was spinning freely without moving the pistons. So at that point we knew something was going on.
BAD BAD we thought we had to unscrew the 17mm bolt to take the charger out so we broke the charger impeller in order to unscrew the 17mm bolt. Too late to realize that we shouldn`t have done that as SP comes out without touching that bolt lol...anyways another hard lesson. So guess what now... the SP has no more gear, nor the bearing that holds that gear or the gold shims...
At this point we will focus on buying a new Xcharger and try to clean the gear and other damaged parts from the old charger. Now the funny thing is that I lost power ...I was able to only go 51 miles I guess the charger was not really working at that moment, I came to the shore, me and my buddy tilt the jetski to the right to see if I got anything under the impeller and then when I tried to go for a ride the jet ski couldn't start. So now I believe that there should not be much damage done as it really came out to the shore and then it just could`nt start anymore ....
Anyways will keep posting pics and update everyone on the progress. Question ... why would this gear on the charger X charger fail after 20 hours of complete engine rebuild with new charger ? I want to blame the shop they did the work but I am afraid of this happening again... there was oil and everything ..
This is a 2008 215 gtx limited with xcharger 255 and upgraded injectors.
