if your running a stock charger just upgrade to the ET127 wheel.. youll need 42 lb injectors but that wheel is giving the xcharger a good run for its money

this is an X-sc I need a new wheel if I get a new X wheel is this all ill need or is there things in there
you can not re use?
also is this simple as just spliting the halves and the wheel will come out
or does it need to be completely torn down to get the wheel out or off
thank you

All you'll need is the wheel.. But since your replacing the wheel.. Might just be more economical just to spend the extra hundred or so and get an et137..

I'm almost positive you'll have to split the halfs and slightly disassemble.. You may need the supercharger tool kit..

Why do you need to replace the wheel?

I let a kid ride it and he sank it,
the wheels fins are trashed from water hitting them, it was a brand new X-sc with about 12 hours on it,
I do have the SC tools
the wheels about 550.00
just didn't no if there where parts that once installed and taken apart
you could not re use again,
on ebay in the past I saw wheels from people putting in spacers and bigger wheels,
I wonder what my housings worth? may be a wash if I sell that and buy a new SC?

ahh okay i remember that thread.. was just trying to prevent you from blowing another wheel if there was something wrong with the ski besides the sinking.

i could see a x charger housing going for around 3-350 bucks with a blown wheel.. i don't see it being very economical to sell the housing you have now and buying a new one.. it would be a waste of money.. especially with 12 hours on a fresh rebuild.

the spacers are only needed if your going to run a bigger, more powerful wheel.. again if you are going for speed and more boost then i would go for an et137 drop in wheel. it could be picked up in a combo with 3mm spacer for around 540 bucks.. if its around the same price as a new x charger wheel then it would be a no brainier for me to go for the upgraded wheel.

once you split the two half's of the supercharger i think there's only a bead of silicone used to hold both sides together.. and don't forget to set the slip.. the slip will be determined by what wheel you are using..

thanks matty,
if I go with the bigger wheel I need the fuel reg and 48 injectors more money
unless im wrong?
I have 42s in there now,
whats the slip on a X-sc?

ill have to double check the slip for you im not too sure..

and yes youll need 48s and its recommended for the fuel reg.. a little more money but if your spending the cash for a stock wheel.. a couple hundred buck more and youll have the custom setup..

unless your not wanting to achieve more speed out of the ski just leave it alone and get the stock xsc wheel.. i just know most guys on here including myself, when something goes wrong they always look for a reason to go bigger and faster haha..

ill check the slip on the stock xsc and get back to you.
