Hey guys getting ready to Summerize my Seadoo, I followed some great tips on winterizing, now I want to get it ready for the summer. When I winterized it I changed the oil andfilter, fogged the system, have the battery inside on a battery tender, changed spark plugs, the one question is to remove the antifreeze from the system, and to do it with out making a big mess? can someone let me know the best procedure to remove the antifreeze and any other things I should do prior to taking it out on the water?

Did you use the RV antifreeze? That stuff is non toxic so you can just splash it in and ride away unless there's some local ordinance against that. I usually just hook up a hose to it and let it run for a minute or so. If you used car antifreeze (which is a no no because of the toxic nature of it) run it on a hose for 2 min and contain the mess as much as possible by placing a bucket or drain pan to catch it and recycle it at your local auto parts store. Hope that helps.

I believe it is Rv stuff. I was wondering how people or what they use to catch it. The reason I asked is I would probably do it in my garage. Anything else I should consider doing prior to hitting the water?

Make sure you got a charged battery clean plugs oil level is good and plenty of go juice. Oh and make sure your plugs in the hull are in and tight. That can ruin your day quick.
