Hey all,

So I still have no idea what happened with the boat, we went for a run yesterday and it accelerated and ran fine for a good half hour then we turned it off to take a break. When we restarted the boat it was like a totally different boat, the engine sounded different, despite giving gas and gearing the boat wouldn't accelerate and the RPM was at 7 but it wouldn't go faster than 10 mph (IF THAT). We managed to get back to the pier and turned off the engine to take it out of water and the bilge was spewing water out at an alarming rate. A little water even came in. Got it out of the water and it kept spewing for a good ten minutes, not sure if its a leak or an engine problem or both?

Somewhat of a newb, first SEADOO and I've got no idea what's wrong and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas before I take it in for servicing.

Thanks.

chgeck the intake grate under the boat, for any obstruction and look inside pump from nozzle. As for water, remove the grey shield from back of motor (2-white wingnuts) and inspect the "carbon" ring for crack/s and chips. May need to loosen the clamps on the accordian boot to rotate it all, also, inspect the accordian boot...
