I have a 2004 Seadoo Islandia. Last weekend, we noticed the steering wheel had a very noticeable vibration/grinding feel to it when turning the steering wheel. I bought this new and have had it 5 years. I recall at the end of last season it did this but then went away. Now it's happening again.
I understand these boats have steering cables...could the vibration/grinding feel in the wheel indicate the cables need to be lubricated? If this was felt in the steering mechanism of a car, I would suspect I would need to add power steering fluid (but obviously that is not the case here).
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks,
