Steering column

I have a a 98 GS, the plastic steering column is cracking at the base. Is this a common problem and what’s the best fix/replacement?

Give Nick over at Westside power sports a call is your best bet for replacing it. If your not worried about looks epoxy it or just ride it as is

If it’s the actual steering column just replace it. It’s really dangerous on a ski if you come into a turn and it won’t turn. I wouldn’t trust glue or repair, loss of steering can get someone hurt.

Agreed I wasn't totally sure if he was talking about the cover or the actual column
