steering cable frozen

My 2005 RXP steering cable is frozen and steering will not turn. What is best way to free up and any trick when storing fo extended periods to prevent this.

Try spraying PB Blaster on the exposed ends, and see it works free. The cables are sealed pretty good so they can't be repaired...just replaced.

thats' cool, gave me same advise, saved my cable too. But, when I saw ur thread, looked up price, and seems they mis-tagged it for the amount of $3.50....that would've been a score.
