starting issues with 2005 GTX 4 tec

My 2005 gtx 4 tec will not turnover after the customary two beeps telling me it's ready to go. If I keep pressing the start button, it will eventually turnover and start- but it is now consistent that it will not fire for 5 to 10 seconds. So far it has always started eventually - but it seems to be getting worse and the problem is more consistent.

Had the same problem with mine as well. I had checked my battery levels, and the start/stop button was working just fine. Every time i had to start it, i had to try several times and one day it just stopped turning over all together.

I took it to the dealer and they told me that the starter solenoid needed to be replaced - that's probably your problem. Mine runs like a champ now.
